It is never too late to learn to knit, or perhaps refresh forgotten skills. The autumn and winter evenings are getting long and it is always nice to keep yourself occupied other than by flicking on your mobile phone.

(Ré)apprendre à tricoter / Learn the basics
Saturdays 20 and 27 November, 4 and 11 December 2021 from 9.30 to 11.30 am
All the basic techniques will be studied… cast ons, different basic stitches, increases, decreases, reading a pattern, catching lost stitches, and finally properly finishing yur project. Everything you need to get by… You will also get a little introduction to knitting on the Internet so that you don't get lost in the hundreds of more or less helpful tutorials.
Materials: yarn and needles for a first sample will be provided, for the second course each participant is encouraged to choose a first project with the corresponding yarn and needles.

Learn the basics
Mondays 27 September, 4 October, 11 October, 18 October 2021 from 10 am to 12 pm
The content of the course is the same as in Kulturhaus Niederanven. Only the timetable changes!

Shawls and stoles
Mondays 15, 22 and 29 November, and 6 December 2021 from 10 am to 12 pm
Level : intermediate
Learn how to knit various patterns and shape your shawls and stoles. We will repeat the techniques of increasing, picking up stitches, making yarn overs to make lace patterns and I'll teach you some tips and tricks to avoid counting stitches over and over...
Feel free to bring your needles and yarns. A selection of yarns from woolinspires specially suited for the projects will be available on site, as well as the needles and other accessories required. If you have a particular pattern in mind, please contact me in advance so that I can prepare your project individually.
