Titus is a blend of fibres from typical English breeds, the longwool sheep : Wensleydale, a very curly long-haired sheep and Bluefaced Leicester, a breed with a very soft and colour-absorbing fibre. Plus Alpaca for some extra softness. baa ram ewe takes great care to use locally sourced, 100% Yorkshire wool. A great challenge !
It is a fine wool, perfectly adapted for accessories (Rachel Coopey’s book, Toasty 2, purposes 9 irresistible patterns!) and sweaters (Finch Fairisle Sweater and Wren Fairisle Yoke by Marie Wallin are available as free Ravelry downloads!).
